Toronto based garage rockers Wine Lips hit the stage for the first time in the fall of 2015. Initially a part time project, the band began playing clubs in Toronto, stretching organically to surrounding Ontario cities and by mid-2017 it was clear that the band members were ready to make a full-time commitment. Wine Lips released their self-titled debut LP on indie label Fried Records and set out on their first 5-province tour, east to Halifax and haven’t looked back.
After an appearance at Le Knock Out in Quebec City, the band was approached by Simon Gaudry with regard to touring overseas. That chance meeting resulted in an April 2018 tour of Hong Kong and China, where they were received by enthusiastic audiences. Never letting the dust settle the band has been touring Canada consistently with no signs of stopping. Fronted by Cam Hilborn on guitar and vocals, Aurora Evans on drums and Richard Stewart on bass, the band continues to serve up their addictive, high energy, sonic tonic, and just released their follow-up LP Stressor. They performed an exhilarating set at Mohawk back in May and we were thrilled to have them back, even if we had to squeeze them in next door…
“Fronted by Cam Hilborn on guitar and vocals, Aurora Evans on drums and Richard Stewart on bass, the band are a bunch of high-energy, high-volume and high-quality purveyors of garage rock and roll and their latest track ‘Electric Lady’ is the perfect combination of those pillars.” – Far Out Magazine (UK)
“Wine Lips, a Toronto-based three-piece comprised of vocalist and guitarist Cam Hilborn, bassist Bryan Coffey, and drummer Aurora Evans, is proving itself to be an absolute force to be reckoned with. With two EPs under their belt, the group smashed through tracks off their 2017 self-titled release Wine Lips. From the start, the band wasted no time showcasing their prowess for punk-infused garage rock, the kind that grabs you by the neck and relentlessly forces you to move any time these three find themselves playing in a room together. Tracks like “Fried” and “Big Muff” are as in-your-face and snotty as it gets, just as you’d want your punk to be served up. From there the band refused to let up as they hammered though a set that conjured up mosh pits and airborne beer.” – Spill Magazine

The Bobby Lees are a bone-shaking Garage Rock band out of Woodstock NY.
Their new track ‘GutterMilk’ and upcoming album were produced by underground punk-legend Jon Spencer of the Blues Explosion. Audiotox UK said “Their raw and unapologetic energy promises to make you feel alive!”
Find them and see for yourself.
In the past year, they’ve opened up for The Chats, The Black Lips, Boss Hog, Shannon & The Clams, The Nude Party, and Murphy’s Law. They will be touring the East coast and midwest throughout 2019.
“Woodstock, NY band The Bobby Lees have released a new single, “GutterMilk.” The track was produced by Jon Spencer (The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Pussy Galore, Boss Hog) and brandishes 98 seconds of expertly crafted garage punk at its best. The Bobby Lees are unleashing the track by way of a video directed by John Swab (Let Me Make You a Martyr) who they note, “wanted to capture our energy in an abandoned building with destroyed elements surrounding us.”” – Vents Magazine
